Steering Committee Meeting :

Members of the Steering Committee (Mayors or HPRs) meet twice a year in order to define the GCD-strategic direction: a first time in Spring and a second time during the General Assembly Meeting, generally held in November.

General Assembly :

Personal participation of all Mayors or HPRs in the annual General Assembly Meeting is required and concrete actions should be undertaken in order to succeed in reaching an "Information Society for all", in which all citizens can profit of the benefits brought by the new Information and Communication Technologies.

Regional Conference :

The role of the regional Vice Chair cities is to strengthen the network at the local level. In this purpose each region will propose at least one GCD-event per year in order to promote the philosophy of the network and give the GCD-members the opportunity to meet at the regional level.

Sherpas Meeting :

The sherpas appointed by the mayors or the HPRs represent the city at the working level and meet serveral times through the year during specific meetings. In particular the sherpas of the Steering Committee meet on a regular basis or via videoconferencing (bi-monthly).
