Steering Committee Meeting in Spring 2010
The next major GCD event is the Spring Steering Committee 2010, due to take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 27 & 28 May.
On this occasion, the members of the Steering Committee and the GCD partner organisations will evaluate the activities implemented since the beginning of the year and plan further cooperation.
Digital solidarity is a grassroots initiative that aims to bridge digital development and has been one of the GCD areas of interest. In this direction, the Steering Committee Meeting will tackle with current topics such as digital identity and digital solidarity projects.
An official signatory ceremony of the Helsinki Declaration will be organised in the framework of the event. Local authorities interested in the GCD work will have the chance to become members and are warmly invited to visit the "Become a member" section on our website and contact the GCD Secretary-Generals for more information.
