The Citadel Statement is signed by GCD in Ghent
& launched at the Lift off to Open Governent’ pre-conference organised by CORVE
GCD and many other supporters of the Citadel Statement signed on 14 December the results of the pan-European call to action of the Flemish government. After identifying the top issues that national and EU decision makers should address by 2013 to better support local eGovernment via a European-wide online consultation, the Flemish government welcomed the supporters of the initiative in Ghent, Belgium, and presented the five key areas of the consultation to a high level audience.
It is a concrete contribution to the Malmö Declaration, which was signed by the Ministers of the European Union on 18 November 2009 in Malmö, Sweden, and outlines a forward-looking eGovernment vision. For any additional information, feel free to contact Mr This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
