The European Commission launched a call to cities and regions to invite a EU-delegation to visit their most innovative ICT projects and discuss EU-funding. for ICT-projects. Cities and regions interested in welcoming a delegation can send official invitations to Mr. Robert Madelin, Director General of the DG Information Society.

GCD will answer this call for invitation. Several members decided to invite the Commission. Agendas for the potential visits are being prepared. The GCD will support all GCD-members' applications and issue a joint invitation.
