Our own TV channel will be dedicated to keep the neighbouring cities informed on issues of interest of the city of Miraflores. It represent a mean to keep the neighbours and local government in constant and direct communication and thus encourage and deepen the meaning of democracy. The Internet is a very important communication tool. MiraTV is a channel that will become a communication offer with a valuable educational information content, presented in documentary format since the citizens can inquire online what they want to know about various topics. The idea is to create a documentary file including major events in our district.

On MiraTV you will find, for example, different documentaries about the history of the district, about very important historic events , such as the “Battle of Miraflores” or the Huaca Pucllana and all the archaeological findings that surface due to the funding of valuable research given by the municipality.

Our potential Internet users will be information about the different services provided by the municipality, such as: citizenship safety, public cleaning, celebrations, cultural, gastronomic and tourist services, public works that are under development (e.g. related progress and closure of streets), etc. MiraTV will also offer entertainment notes and the neighbours themselves will have the possibility to participate in the channel production, through emails where they can suggest, request or send documentaries of collective interest. There is a story to tell behind each neighbour, each house, each street or park in Miraflores.
