Sherpas Meeting on 29 - 30 April in Diegem, Belgium
On the occasion of the organisation of the upcoming GCD-Summit of Mayors, the next sherpas meeting will be held at the Cisco Belgian headquarters in Diegem near the international airport in Brussels on 29 - 30 April 2010.
The results of the last sherpas meeting that took place in Issy-les-Moulineaux on 28 & 29 January are the following:

- Upcoming event(s): The Spring GCD-Summit of Mayors on 27 & 28 May 2010
With the appointment of the Commission College for 2010 - 2014, it has been agreed to organise this Spring Event in Brussels on 27 & 28 May 2010 in order to enable some new Commissioners, in particular for Digital Agenda, to learn more about the GCD-activities. Commissioner Neelie Kroes has been invited to contribute as Keynote Speaker on this occasion. Since 1999 is the European Commission one of our most strategic partners and this Summit will help to reinforce this collaboration.
- Communications strategy 2010
One of the priorities of GCD this year is to increase the communication between the GCD-members and to disseminate the good practices of the GCD-members mainly via the website and other channels of communication e.g. social networks.
